How to enable avatars for users?

Hi,

is it possible to allow users to upload avatars? At the moment every user just got a picture with the first letter of his name as profilepicture. It would be cool if users could personalize their avatars.

Unfortunately it is currently not possible to add an avatar to the user’s profile.
